Advice on first PC

Hello everyone,

The budget is a maximum of £1500. I tried to get the build under 1300 so that I can get a monitor as well for the overall budget to be under 1500 but couldn't cut any more corners.
I am looking for a pc majorly for gaming and some light virtual machine work.
The monitors I have been looking at are the MSI Optix G24C4 Full HD 24" Curved LED and the Samsung Odyssey G3 LF24G35TFWUXXU Full HD 24" LED.

I would really appreciate your inputs on what to change.

Ok this is a little over budget but will give you a real nice base going forward, I dropped the GPU down to the 2060 as the 3060 Ti is overkill for 1080p even at 144 Hz

Thank you for your input. I was going for 3060ti because that would give me some future-proofing.
The upgrade to 5600x does seem like a good thing to do. Additionally, I do not have a lot of storage requirements so I can skip on that as well.
Is the upgrade to 850W PSU and CPU cooler necessary or the original one would be fine?

you can't future proof on GPU's, they are the most likely thing to change several times over the the life (7-10 years) of the build, the drives are configured like that so should you have to a clean install of windows you don't have to reinstall all your games as windows is on the faster of the 2 M.2 and the games are on the slightly slower one.

The frostflow coolers aren't very good and cooling isn't an area you want to be scrimping on as it really does affect performance, the 850W PSU is future proofing, so when you upgrade GPU's over the life of the build you've still got plenty of overhead to power them

As for the case, I'm confused between COOLERMASTER MASTERBOX K500 ARGB, LIAN LI LANCOOL 215 and FRACTAL FOCUS G BLACK GAMING CASE (Window). I would really like some RGB 😅 so either I go between the first two or go for the Fractal case, and switch to 16GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB).

I’d spend the extra few pounds and get:
