It looks to me like it may be overkill for your uses but it's certainly about as good as you're going to get.

I personally wouldn't opt for the Hero motherboard over the STRIX. The STRIX is a luxury choice, the Hero doesn't really offer much over it with AMD to be honest.

With the storage, do you really need 2TB and 2TB? I would normally recommend 1TB for the Primary and 2TB for the secondary. I can't think of many instances where a 2TB primary would be a high priority.

With regards to the RGB, between the front fans and the RGB fans on the cooler, you will already be covered with airflow and RGB. It should balance nicely. If you really want to go for more, you need to select the "3x Corsair LL 120 RGB fan" package. Not sure how that will work out with the cooler but you could call and ask.

That's quite the dream spec you have :)

@Scott Thank you for the quick reply.

I will look at not using the Hero in favor of the STRIX...it was one of the places I wasn't quite sure so that it is very helpful and will save me a few bucks.

The two 2TB drives were for linux and windows, 2TB for each.

The rear fan was really for aesthetics more than practicality, so maybe I will just pass on it to keep it balanced.

The reason for the perhaps over powered spec is because some of my development can be compute intensive like local training of ai models.

Now I just have to gather the courage to pull the trigger.

Thanks again for the help :)
