Advice on this build

I'm looking to buy a new desktop pc and have come up with the current build as seen below. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Additional information:
Budget:
max. 1800€, although I would like to stay in the 1500€ range or below

Uses:
Gaming (Dota 2, ARK), training Machine Learning models+ working with lots of data, 3D animation

Monitor:
I currently have a BenQ ZOWIE XL 2411 monitor (Full HD (1080p) 1920 x 1080 at 144 Hz) and will get a second monitor later. (I don't know which one yet, open for suggestions)

Here is a different take, with a better case, more modern cooler, better PSU, improved storage. You could drop down to save 5600x to save some money and reduce the motherboard and cooling. Ideally I would go for the 850 RMx PSU.

Nice build, but when I click on the link it says it’s £1,888, which is €2,227 and way over the €1800 budget.

Likewise, OP’s comes in at £1780 when I click on that link, which is €2,099… am I missing something here?

I think something strange is going on with the configurator. When I first went in it had a higher price, so I selected the 5600x instead and the price was in the £1200s. I upgraded to the 5800x and got the price shown. I wonder if it has got confused between Euros and Pounds somehow.

Aha! I just noticed that the ex. VAT and VAT inc prices are the same. So the correct price will be over £1800 with the 5800x.

Why do you have two 1TB Intel drives? @Bigfoot selected the 500GB 980 Pro specifically to be the boot drive mate, this is the fastest drive PCS offer and is absolutely stellar as a boot drive. Literally twice the speed of the Intel 670p

Yeah that's not what you want with a boot drive though mate

The boot drive is going to be mostly bare mate. Just key programs and the goal should be the keep it under 60% to keep the operating system speed optimal. If you need 2TB of storage space I would recommend the 2TB Intel 670p but keep the boot drive at 500GB

That looks like a really solid build. Just a quick note though the Silver warranty is only a fiver and well worth it. Offers collections and returns for 1 year if any problems come up. I imagine shipping to and from Norway would be expensive so it's definitely worth the £5 right now
