ADVICE PLEASE. LAPTOP KEEPS OVERHEATING...

Hi guys,
My laptop keeps overheating and shutting down.
I have the laptop on a cooling pad and the pad is running on full. I have also cleaned the graphics card fan and I have a program that tells me the temp so I know when it is going to overheat.
I,ve tried updating drivers but im not sure whether I have updated all of them.
Its not like im running a high spec game either.

What temps are you seeing when it is overheating? On both the CPU and GPU? And what programme are you using?

We love you Ukraine
Im not sure about the CPU but the GPU is hitting about 92 or there abouts.
You need to install hwmonitor and post your temps for idle and under load for both gpu and cpu.

I took some screen shots of the app.

Under load, as in doing something strenuous like running a very demanding game at high settings, or a benchmark like Firestrike, or other kinds of stress tests.

As opposed to 'idle' or 'light load' where it's not running anything - or is just running some office software
