It will run it, and well but I don't know about max settings. If you want a gaming laptop you should look at the vortex series. What is your budget? For your spec there, it looks good but i'd suggest upgrading the CPU to a quad core, I think it may be cheaper as well.

thats actually a pretty good spec, a lot of it similar to mine and has the option to easily add a second 570 later on, shame about it having watercooling though and the default OC

make sure to get silver warranty with it for a fiver though

its not bad its just that i generally dislike the WCing that PCS supply, seems quite common to break and if it happens outside the warranty you are screwed

ive seen more than 3, probably 15+ dont mean to alarm anyone but i dont like the idea of the CoolIT one, PCS were starting to transfer over to the awesome corsair ones, but i dont know what happened

sorry mate, couldn't disagree more.

Just to point out mate, the corsair ones are made by coolit, (corsair bought coolit)

say worst case scenario the cooler did break at some point, are they hard to replace?

If a liquid cooler did break, it would have to go back to pcs.

I cant remember who told me, pretty sure I found out from the coolit forums whilst researching about the omni. Anyway, corsair paid coolit for their products and the right to brand them "corsair"

wow, so if its out of warranty i couldnt even pay for them to fix it? im maybe better to just go for the cyclone II then, it doesnt use a liquid cooler

you can pay them to ofcourse, but us gents on the forums couldnt give you a accurate price.

We are more than happy to help ya spec up a pc using the builder?

yeh you can pay for them to fix it but you may have to pay for whatever breaks, which is most likely to be the graphics card as it sits right below it

personally, if you can wait id recommend getting a spec the same as the other one but without OC and watercooling, could save a lot of cash as well

i could wait but tbh the reason i was going for a pre built was so i could get it quicker. ill mostly be using it for mmo's like the new star wars old republic and stuff like that on high to max settings, would the cyclone II do this? its also much cheaper, and thanks alot for all the help btw :)
