Advice Required - Gaming rig for £800 vs upgrade for gt560m

Hey guys

Just looking for some advice here on this rig for £820ish. Was looking ideally to run skyrim on it, but note that the 555m isn't amazing in ultra spec on this. Is it worth the couple of hundred upgrade for the 560m or is there a better alternative for around this price? Was ideally looking to keep the costs around £800-£900.

Cheers for any assistance!

It is going to be difficult to upgrade that spec that much with the £900 barrier, especially the graphics card. However, I have two specs, one in your price range and one with a better graphics card. Skyrim apparently isn't that demanding on graphics cards but I am not sure and other games will be more demanding, anyway, here are the specs:

The upgrade in gpu will mean that the laptop can play much higher settings on games and so will generally last longer as a gaming laptop. I'd reccomend the second laptop if you can afford it!!!

yeh the hard drive isnt that important and wont effect your gameplay, only loading times, plus the vortex has 2 hard drive slots so you could always buy an SSD later

If it helps drop to 4gb ram, games dont really use much more and its stupidly easy and very cheap to upgrade when you do need it.
