Advice?

Hi

So it's that time again where I'm looking to build a new rig. The below is what I'm potentially looking at, however need some advice. I've went for the Titan X however I've not gone for a monitor that displays 4K.

The reasons behind this is I prefer a 144hz refresh rate for competitive gaming, that's not to say I won't go for 4K at some point.

So I guess my questions are is it worth going for the Titan X or either a different card / wait for new cards?

Should I just bite the bullet and go 4K now? I'm going for a beasty machine that will last me a while hence the overkill.

For 1920x1080 it is massively overkill. You could consider the GTX 970/GTX 980

Thanks for the prompt reply. Would it be worth SLI X2 980s? Like I said at some point I'm going to move to 4K monitor. I might just go for it now. Wish they'd release a 4K monitor capable of 120hz / 144hz refresh rate :(

I've ordered the above system I'm now contemplating switching th3 monitor for the Asus ROG... would this be a better monitor to use along side the Titan X?

Also when I checked switching to it there was a message about connections that may be required? Has anyone got the rog who can tell me a bit more about it?
