Advise on computer build

Hi guys i'm planning to buy my first desktop computer (up until now i've always used laptops). Anyway i'd just like some feedback on whether you think this computer build will be worth the money? I would like it to be able to play all the modern games, I also will be doing alot of film encoding, and heavy Matlab usage.

The only think that i'm not sure about is whether the power supply will be good enough and whether any extra cooling would be recommended.

Heres the build, i'm planning to get a 23" dell ultrasharp monitor aswell

thanks in advance

John

It'a looking pretty good already! You only need advanced cooling if you plan to overclock the system, though a cheap and cheerful cooler may be a bit quieter than the default cooler. Consider an NVIDIA graphics card as you plan to encode as well as game - perhaps the GTX 470.

yes nvidia for cuda processing if using badaboom etc. Id upgrade psu too to add a second gpu in sli / xfire should u wish to prolong pc's usability later on :)
