2 days i've had my pc for and today i found out its having problems so i called the pcspecialist company its an 0844 number so it must have cost me about 20/30 pounds i was on the phone for about an hour, only to find out the pc is basically broken... i now have to wait till thursday to send the pc back to pc specialist for them to fix... I am very disapointed somehow the things they told me before the order dont seem very true anymore, the fact that the pc will be thoroughly tested and also will be quality controlled well you'd think if they had tested my pc, they would know that the power supply or whatever other component isnt working properly, and that they might have noticed the pc shuts down automatically every now and then... and that it also does not start up properly sometimes the pc turns on and off continously... however they have not noticed, they have made me pay for 1hours worth of telephoning them, and the money i payed for my fast track service would have also been wasted as now its gonna take even longer for them to fix it and for me to get the pc, im sorry but that is awful customer service....

Firstly, from reading a previous post - I'm sure that the 0844 number is only 5p per minute, in case costing you £3 maximum.

Secondly, also from reading a previous post - I've seen an issue like this before, and the person took a side panel off and found a loose connection or cable? I wouldn't advise having a nosey if you don't know what you're doing, and it may also break your guarantee so I would suggest that you were best to leave it alone. If it is something so simple, then it should be back to you asap.

Thirdly and finally, the fast track service. From what I have been reading on another website, it PC Specialist cannot meet the Fast Track Service, then the service is refunded.

Hope I helped.

i think the costs are higher but im not sure, and on the phone to the person he did make me do a lot of checks and checking the cable connections were some of them, i didnt see any loose cables, he suggested it might be a power supply problem, which means it might take longer?.. and also they did meet the fast track service on the delivery but whats the point when they got to take it back after one day lol...

Well, it's deffinitly only 5p a minute so there's no way you'd be paying £20-30 for the bill.

Well, its only that on a landline.
If you're on a mobile it probably depends on your supplier, but I don't know what the charges would be for them (I'm with Vodafone and I'm pretty sure they charge a fortune for it - something silly like 30-40p a minute, though I could be wrong)
