AMD software compatibility question

Does anyone know of any issues running any 3D modelling/rendering programs using AMD processors over Intel?
I have upgraded to Optitex 3D a cad system for the clothing industry and they only list intel in their system requirements.
Having read the useful guides here and done some other research I'm interested in an AMD ryzen 7 5800x over intel i7 but know people who have had compatibility issues in the past (distant) with other software. I contacted their support and was referred back to the list, told that's what the developers had tested on and if I wanted a different CPU to get the same spec or higher - felt that's kind of obvious but was surprised they haven't tested AMD.

I have used both companies processors in the past and generally chose what was best and in budget at the time but am getting a bit nervous when building a machine that will be 2K plus when I later upgrade the graphics (can't wait for the 30 series so going for the 2060 which will do the job for the standard 3D and will ugrade later for photorealistic rendering)

thanks for any advice

Not seen anything on it but not my area so will not have read much. What has impressed me about AMD as a Linux user was how quick they were to fix issues. There were a few early on with Ryzen but these were fixed very quickly, my guess is they would be the same with other stuff.

Thanks for the response, I figured it was a pretty specialist area but thought it was worth asking .
Most of what I have read is very much in the favor of AMD and ther seems like little reason to go for Intel at the moment other than the reccomendationed specification supplied by the software company who have only used Intel.
