Another gaming pc...

I'm trying to choose specs for a gaming PC, but I know next to nothing unless the internet tells me it, so I'm turning to you guys for advice!

  • This is roughly the budget I have available.
  • I have a three monitor set-up.
  • I have a big fancy speaker system to justify the sound card.
  • This machine will be almost exclusively for gaming and light general use.

Please let me know if there's any part of the spec that looks wrong, or just provide some reassurance! :)

You dont really need an overclocked machine for gaming. the spec on its own can handle gaming perfectly fine with the overclock :) so the non k variant i7 an 1333mhz ram is fine suited. overclocking for gaming isnt really worthit.

an 750 or 650 watt psu is fine unless you want to hold onto the 850 for alot of upgrades or such but the 750w has plenty of room too.

Thanks for the advice. I was mostly choosing over-clocking since it didn't seem to change the price all that much and I figured why not.

And yeah, the PSU was mostly just because I'd rather upgrade than replace this time round :)
