Any chance for FireWire on Cosmos IX?

Hey guys,

I need to use some piece of kit over the weekend which runs through FireWire...
I know it's possible to find Thunderbolt 3 to FireWire adapter from Apple, and that Thunderbolt 3 uses the same connector as USB-C, but does that mean that the board will support such adapter though? I am struggle to find any info on the matter online, and my PC makes no mention of Thunderbolt compatibility.

Thunderbolt is separate to usb c and isn’t on the cosmos. Either way though, an Apple adapter wouldn’t work as you don’t get windows drivers.

You would need a pcimcia port which is legacy and not supported anymore.
