No, that build is complete and absurd overkill for any gaming, let alone 1080p/1440p. It would do 4K, and even for that you're spending much more than you need to.

By way of example, here's a "completely over the top" 4K gaming PC, leaving you thousands to spend on a display. To be clear, I would not recommend this: it's just to show that your build is way over the top for what you actually need to spend!
