Time to get myself a new computer fir gaming does this spec look ok any advice welcome.

budget? just gaming? overclocking the cpu?

my budget it £2000 ill be gaming mainly, not to sure about overclocking i have a basic knowledge of computing, im a wow player but grandson is a fps fan so though this would handle the new ones coming out.

A 4970k would do just fine for gaming, I see no need for the extra cores. Make that change and free up some of your budget, also, get a WD HDD, it's got better performance and reliability than the one you chose.

Thanks for the advice ill get another hd with the money saved as i watch a lot of movies
