Anyone On Planetside 2? + Mic Problems

I don't want to only come here when I have PC problems, ironically it is my first go to choice and even more ironically I seem to always have some issue.

I can't get my bluetooth mic to work with skype, I've been playing the Planetside 2 beta and voice chat doesn't seem to work, what's worse is that Skype doesn't recognise my bluetooth mic.

Windows doesn't recognise it under speech recognition either.

is it because im not using onboard sound?

mic is Geotech Ex-01 bluetooth. I'm using a PCI sound card attached to a PCI recording interface.

drivers installed for my bluetooth receiver but never for my mic

plugged in via USB it doesn't detect the mic it just charges it, it doesn't install or even search for any drivers


OK the mic is for PS3 but ive seen so many forum posts saying that it will work on PC

i cant find any drivers on their website so i assume there are no pc drivers
