ASUS Prime B460 Plus RGB

So i just bought " PC Specialist Cypher GT Gaming PC " i know their is a button on the front of the tower that changes some of the light functions but i cant get it how i want it. preferably both matching colours and stationary would be great the flashing is some what distracting. Is their an app to control it already installed or do i need to go get it ??

You'll probably want to register your PC with PCS so that you can benefit from tech support.

However, looking at the photos, it looks like a Thermaltake View 21 case

View 21 Tempered Glass RGB Plus Edition

ATX mid tower case with two tempered glass windows and four preinstalled 120mm Pure Plus 12 RGB fans.

...to control the ARGB fans on the case, but I'm not sure if the cooler is controlled by the same software...or by the motherboard software (Asus in your case).

Not sure if it's the same for pre-builts as custom-builds, but the account page usually has some software downloads for you to install (although they're not always they latest versions).

Tried TT RGB Plus but it claims cannot detect controller, i can only assume their isn't one or its the wrong software.

So i'll just dive right in and say, with the motherboard i have so far. Only AI Suit 3 Lighting Control works with the PCS FrostFlow 100 RGB V3 Series High Performance CPU Cooler, but i am looking to find out if their are any SAFE mods or other apps that can create a better look I wont lie, so far the only option i use is static.

While the stage setting for colour change is pretty nice, neither the blinking, fading or strobing mode looks good. All look more like someone flicking a light switch on and off (apart from fading), which i would say would be the best. But i cant help thinking their must be better options, things i can do to create a better look.

Also the front RGB are controlled by a button on the tower, is their no way to make a software such as AI sweet control both ????

I'd suggest something like a corsair commander would be able to take over control but you may need to swap out the RGB fans to ensure compatibility.

Perhaps some other folk may have better ideas.

Oh one of those, in which case i suggest that they phone PCS and get it registered with them, which will then hopefully produce a full spec sheet

I am not certain armoury crate will help for any fans/lights not connected to your mobo although its certainly worth checking out as its a free piece of software.

For the stuff connected to your case, I'd suggest it probably needs replacing with some 'other' stuff (potentially the corsair stuff as noted above that works with the commander)

Ofcourse, I could b eentirely off piste here.

Armoury Crate does not work it doesnt pick up anything, not even the cooler RGB's. I guess when i get some money, im forking for some new fans. That being said, its not really that important (it just would have been nice is all).
