ASUS ROG Swift PG35VQ

which card RTX 3070 or 3080 would be the best pairing with the ASUS ROG Swift PG35VQ?
i use my PC for games only and originally planned to upgrade my intel but then AMD came along and i am thinking of joining the queue for a AMD monster. As for games I picked up MSFS2020 and Cyberpunk 2077 , though I used to play a lot of total war.

I should say that in the future I am thinking of trying VR especially in flight sims.
thanks for any advise.

A lot depends on your overall PC spec.

can you post up your PC Specialist build.

it would be pointless saying card xx if you only have a 550 psu for example.

Thanks for the reply Gavras. I have no build to post yet as I was wanting to know what card should I build around.🤪

Thank you. I will do a build over the weekend. Have to go for 3080 for now🙂
have a happy Christmas.

Have a good read up on the 3080 Ti as information is starting to leak.

I hope you have a good desk for that monitor lol, it’s beefy.

it’s also one I am considering (post house move).

I really like the reviews on its use of FALD.

it could be a great game changer for monitors.

i copied this from AgentCooper. I have the monitor already and it is a wonderful experience to sit up close to the curved monitor. I made some modifications to the build. The monitor is indeed beefy and I did not set up all the lights because it is a pain to move.
