Hi guys,

Just wanted to say hello to everyone.

My old gaming laptop has let me down on the 4th of December and I immediately placed an order for a new one and decided to do it with PCSpecialist. My order was 4 days in Processing bit and now it is in PRE-Production(5th day). I am checking the status every day out of excitement , I hope there will not be any delays as I have seen few posts about people complaining about the waiting time.

The laptop I ordered has the following specs , if anyone has any advice , photos , tips of what should I expect from people ordering the same or similar ?

I have seen some Prometheus XVII reviews ( I understand it is the same as my laptop but with a different name ( Can you guys confirm this )?

There are issues with the laptop overheating If so , what cooler you guys recommend ?

Remove Bullguard, its nothing but trouble and the inbuilt windows defender does an excellent job for free

Great choice mate. I have ordered exactly the same laptop (accept the storage drive) its in day 2 of testing now. I have been told they will probably be shipping it monday.

The one thing i did do was stick with Windows 10. Personally for me its far too early to be switching to Windows 11.

When was your order placed? Just so I can a rough Ideea how long it took for yours to be in this stafe.

So I ordered it on the 4th of December. But do not take that as any sort of measuring stick.
I initially ordered the Ionico 17 but on the 8th PCS called me to let me know that chassis was no longer in stock so I would have to switch my order to a different chassis or cancel it, so I switched to the Valeon.
Because of the mix up PCS put my Valeon order into the priority queue and they built it the next day.
