backup method?

Hi All
Just wondering what backup method you use?
Im currently just using the built in windows 7 system, is this as good as any?
or is it better to use a third part piece of software?

I use windows7 own backup & restore utility,
I have restored my system successfully, twice,
after two hard drive failures,so I can recommend it.
