My mother in law's laptop is on the verge of giving up the ghost and they've asked me to look into a replacement for it. It is a VERY old HP that she uses for online banking (a new adventure for her this year), checking her emails, whatsapp/zoom calls with family and friends and writing the annual family news letter. They've got a budget of around £200-250.
My intial thought was something refurbished or a secondhand HP 15. But as I've recently bought a desktop from PCS and been delighted with the machine and the service, I thought I'd check out their basic laptops. The spec below looks ideal for her - what are people's thoughts on the basic Geminis?
