Best gaming PC possible

Hey there

I have a set budget of £1100 and I want to build the best possible desktop gaming pc. I'm not to bothered about the case (as long as it fits the parts obviously) I just want to buy the bets gaming rig possible with the budget I have from pc-specialist.

A friend recommended me to start off with an AMD processor along with an ATI card?

But what do you guys think, what's the best gaming set-up I can get? :turned:

Let us know what games you intend to play, any others uses for the PC and if you need keyboard/mouse, Monitor or any extras as well, then someone can put a nice rig together for you.

I intend to play some pretty decent games, such as: Crysis, Crysis 2, left 4 dead 2 etc...

As for monitors and stuff, I'm fine for all of that, I have 2 22 inch's and have a great keyboard and mouse.
