Best internet setup for gaming?

I just wanted to know what the best setup for internet gaming. As in how to get low ping times etc.

Good CAT6, Good router, fiber and you are set.
Make sure you play on the right servers too as in EU or US depending on where you live and the game.

Thought so. I'll look into getting a cat 6 cable then. I already have fiber so it should be faster
