Hi,i am a relative noobie when i comes to custom computers and i have recently been looking for a system that will be able to play most games whilst also being fast and reliable. I was considering the following set-up and was a little unsure as to how much of an advantage the ssd give on start up and the running/ opening of applications. I am also torn between the gpu whether to go with the radeon hd6970 or the gtx 570. Any advice on the set-up would be greatly appreciated.

Memory - 1st Hard Disk
2TB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD2002FAEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm) nice, they at a very good price, same as 1tb, wouldnt bother with the caching drive, rather the 580

1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive
12x BLU-RAY ROM DRIVE, 16x DVD ±R/±RW (£42) if you dont need the blu ray, remove it, and up the case to the cm690 II

Power Supply
CORSAIR 650W ENTHUSIAST SERIES™ TX650 V2-80 PLUS® BRONZE (£72)

Processor Cooling
SUPER QUIET 22dBA TRIPLE COPPER HEATPIPE INTEL CPU COOLER (£19) no need for titan, is massive, is very good but will force pcs to remove ya side fan cause its so big, so stick with this cooler, which to be honest is perfectly fine.

personally if you get the CM690 II case then i will definitely recommend the fan controller, as it offers 5 extra fans and this case definitely has some free slots
