A friend of mine bought an Apple Macbook yesterday from an official Apple store in London. Got the laptop home, opened the box, only to find the box filled with a laptop sized and weight block of Playdoh. Took it back to the store and were told that this is quite common. People buy the laptop, take it home, take the laptop out, fill the space with a block fo playdough same weight as the laptop then use a heat sealer to reseal the box. They then take it back to the store and ask for a refund, which is given without question as the laptop box is sealed. Luckily they replaced it for a real laptop.
