Bios Reset?

I was moving my system a small bit to put it on a flat board so it wasn't on the carpet. When I turned it back on it wouldnt boot and said I had to enter setup on the Bios. When I did it it seemed to have reset all the Bios settings.

Thankfully I was able to find the section that had the last changed settings which I assume is what PCS set it up as so I was able to change them all back.

Why do you think this happened. Is the a bios reset button on my system that I pressed by accident?

Just worried it may happen again?

Long shot but maybe your CMOS battery came out during transit... somehow (don't really think so though...) but suppose it just needs a slight jossle and it 'could' cause a problem of that nature ... maybe... if you're unlucky.

Higher end boards so have a CMOS reset switch on the motherboard itself, I believe that one does

Thanks for the replies. Checked the back of the board and there is a reset there. I can only think I must have pressed this somehow!
