Bootable USB not working

Hi,

Currently putting together a new build. I can get it to POST and I've set it to boot from the USB, but as soon as it starts that process, it just freezes. (to be more precise, it goes to the ASUS logo, and the wee icon starts whirling, then just freezes, literally after around 1 second). At this point the VGA led lights, and thats it.
So far I've tried reinstalling Windows 10 onto the USB (both with the media creation tool and Rufus), but neither with any luck, still freezes.
Also updated the board BIOS to the latest version.
When it POSTS, the motherboard is detecting the CPU, RAM and SSD correctly, and it detects the bootable USB. If it matters, the voltages all seem to be in order.

Parts:
Asus A170-A Motherboard
Intel I7 6700k CPU
Corsair 32gb (2x16 gb DDR4 2133MHz)
Corsair MP510 480GB M.2 SSD#
Corsair 750w PSU

Please excuse my noobie-ness, fairly new to all this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'm afraid that since these fora belong to PC Specialists (PCS) we can't advise on other builds. You might want to try a general forum like Tom's Hardware.
