If you don't boot your pc directly in "dGPU only" it starts by using both the GPU and it will automatically choose which one to use based on the type of operation. So in normal use it boot by using the iGPU and not the dGPU.
thank you for explaining it. I will have a look if I need iGPU drivers as well.

Okay, now I have updated windows and got all drivers and turned off fast startup.

After doing a couple of restarts, I can confirm that the screen does not flicker anymore.

I'm not sure exactly what the issue was but it seems to have resolved. So I guess it's good and doesn't need to be sent back.

Actually, my screen flickers again. this time I put my laptop to sleep and next day (which is today) when I pressed on the power on button my screen flickered. I had to shut down by keep pressing the power on button and then start like normal.

So I'm considering to send it back.
