In the last week I have had the following issues.
Initially, I noticed that I had no ethernet, and the ethernet/LAN Controller will not show up in device manager. It was hidden, so I deleted it to try and force Windows to rediscover it, but this was unsuccessful. WiFi still works so I have had to use that since.
I did sfc /scannow, DISM restore health, and ipconfig flush to check for issues, but nothing was found. I updated the BIOs and drivers through Armoury Crate and Intel Driver & Support Assistant, the Ethernet driver was not available in either of these, and I could not install it manually from the zip on the ASUS website. I also attempted to drain power from the motherboard, which did not resolve the issue.
After this, I have had random bluescreens, even when not running a game. I have tried reinstalling Windows 11, however I am still getting a blue screen and no ethernet, with nothing obvious and consistent in Event Viewer, Reliability Monitor, however minidumps suggested that it could be a memory issue. Here is a link to my Sysnative zip which I ran after my last blue screen: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GfSjY6tY8KR_1jzqakZBOW5xMIUnhSHj/view?usp=sharing
Because of this, I ran MemTest86, which showed 9 errors, so I am likely to believe it is a memory issue. However, the ethernet problem would suggest it’s a motherboard issue. The summary is below.
