Hello all!
I recently took delivery of a new computer from PCspecialist, and for the large part, all is good. However, I do occassionally suffer from a BSOD. It does not give exactly the same info each time, but on the last crash the code was 0x0000003B and the time before was 0xC0000001.
I have googled these, but the solutions assume a recent big change to software or hardware and therefore prescribe a system restore etc. This is a new computer though, so I have made no such changes.
It mainly happens when watching video. The last crash for instance was when viewing a trailer on Steam. It isn't consistant though, as after that crash I went back to Steam and watched the trailer without any problems. It is accompanied by stuttering sound at the moment of crashing, but that may just be a consequence of the crash and not otherwise important.
I ran the Windows 7 memory test, and all was fine there.
So has anyone got any more specific advice on how I might diagnose the problem further? Anything else I should tell you?
Any helpful comments gratefully received!
Cheers
