Now im not sure if im allowed to post this on here so please do tell me if so.

I'm planning on building a budget PC as a project for myself and then to sell on, i was wondering if someone could help me by giving me the best part list for value, my budget is £300-£350, I plan to use only one website if possible and I wouldn't mind using PCspecialist as long as they send it in parts other wise I would use a website like overclockers. Can anyone help?

You could use tom's hardware for ideas, PC Format also offers a section for a budget desktop (slightly more than your budget). I don't think overclockers offers competitive prices.

Yea Overclockers offer brilliant service but they do tend to be quite a bit more expensive than most places. Other than the ones Keynes said I can only suggest Scan. I've heard good and bad things about their service (as you would with any company) but you would be able to purchase parts separately and they are aimed at people building their own machines.

I wouldn't normally post other competitors names but as PCS don't do individual parts I think you might be out of luck buying from here!

How does this sound?
1GB XFX Radeon HD 7770
Fractal Design Core 1000
500GB Seagate ST500DM002 Barracuda SATA 6Gb/s, 7200rpm
Corsair 4GB (1x4GB) DDR3 1333Mhz
AMD Athlon II X2 270 3.4GHz
Asus P8B75-M LX PLUS S155 Intel B75 DDR3 mATX
LiteOn IHAS124-04 24x SATA DVDRW HH Internal Drive
Best Value Pulse 500W 120mm Silent Red Fan SATA PFC PSU

The only thing is is that this comes to £293.46 and I dont have an OS.

You can buy OEM to keep costs down if your building the PC from scratch plus, Microsoft have always turned a blind eye to consumers using OEM discs on ready built machines. You just don't get support or any fancy packaging.

Thanks that should help keep cost down, is there anything about the spec I could change for the better without spending more or is anything missing?

You could probably save a few quid on a 5400rpm HD instead of the slightly faster 7200rpm drive. Cant really see that impacting more than a few seconds on load times but, might free up a few quid to spend elsewhere like the OS. The rest, will need the input of the more tech savvy on here to let you know if you can get better components for the same money.

I'd stick with the Fractal case, great company. Have you tried using pcpartpicker (uk version)? it has a comparison feature which lets you track the price of parts over the last month or so and also shows you the cheapest places to grab components. Im building a PC later this month and got some good deals via their site.

The link you posted is just to your generic lost of parts for every build. If you hit saved parts there will be a dedicated link. Probably best to pm that and we can keep non pcs build discussion off the forums, I'll send you any thoughts.

Guys please remember that these forums belong to PCS so links to other places and detailed discussions on building your own PC's should be kept to a minimum
