Budget Gaming PC

I recently purchased my own custom pc from here a few months ago and now my friend would also like to buy a pc but doesn't want to spend too much if they don't have to. I was curious what would be a minimal amount of money one could spend on a pc build and still receive good enough performance on games like Fortnite and cod and maybe even games like rust where they're actually playable. Would £500 for the PC itself be too low of an amount? Any builds people come up with are welcome too.

£500 would be too little, even for a very basic 1080p spec.

I think the minimum we've been able to get an entry-level 1080p PC is around £850-900, but the price fluctuates depending on what's in stock and the current prices of components.

It will be much easier to spec a system if your friend posts here directly.

That said, you will not get a custom built PC for £500 that's worth buying. You could get one for something like £750-900, depending on the level of graphics you are comfortable with, but neither would be good value IMO.
