Budget OC and Monitor for FS2020

Hi there

I want to buy a budget PC and monitor for my brother in law as he’s mad keen on Flight Sim and his current PC won’t run FS2020.

ive looked at some of the next day delivery PCs and came across the following which I’ve paired with an AOC 24” monitor which looks quite good. 24“ is the max size of monitor that will fit his room.

Absolute max budget all in is £1,500 .

Would this be a good buy? I tried to post the spec to the forum but wouldn’t let me - not sure if that’s because it’s a pre configured build?

Cheers Mate and no, there is no rush. Just used the pre set config as somewhere start with. Will defo go with your suggestions as happy to max out the budget. I know the monitor size is a bit of a pain but if I got him anything bigger my Sister in Law would go mental!

Ah that makes sense. In a couple of years hopefully he’ll be in a position upgrade the monitor and GPU.

27 isnt that huge a leap from 24... Its only like 1 inch taller and a couple wider I reckon you could easily get away with it just by pointing to 1440p and how great the flightsim is at that resolution.

Worth remembering that FS2020 has literally a real global map... Imagine the sights/destinations she could peak at in real clear images, scout out possible holiday destinations... There are ways to sell this.

It would stretch the budget slightly but have to agree that a 27" 1440p monitor would be highly recommended for FS2020.
