Build advice and USB-C monitor?

Hey guys,

Budget: ~£2000 (a bit over if justified)

Use: Video editing, CAD software, 4k video rendering, music production, mid-tier gaming.

Display Monitor(s):

LGEA83 - https://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-27EA83

(If possible) ASUS MB169C+ - https://www.asus.com/uk/Displays-Desktops/Monitors/ZenScreen/MB169C-plus

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if it would be possible to run a small display monitor from the USB-C port on this motherboard in addition to a main monitor running via displayport from the GPU? my small additional monitor only has a USB-C input. This additonal minitor would only need to display fairly static things such as control surfaces, so nothing that would require much graphics processing.

PCS has integrated graphics ticked for the motherboard when I check the specifications, but I've also seen people say that Ryzen doesn't support integrated graphics in general and would support displays from the GPU only.

Any additional comments around this build would also be appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply martin!

In the product info for the adapter you linked it states that it only works with Displayport displays, as it isn't bi-directional.

Consequently, I'm guessing that there probably isn't a way to connect the USB-C monitor with the system if it can't be done via the motherboard port.

Thanks again for your time anyway :)
