What’s it for?

what’s the max budget?

what monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate or make and model if you’re unsure?

Paring with a 1440P 144Hz monitor. Its mainly gaming and content consumption as well as some video editing. I'm pretty much at max budget but can go a bit higher if any changes are advised.

I would personally go for a higher end case, the 220T is really a budget case not designed for such high end components.

There's no particular benefit to having a 1Tb SSD as the secondary drive, although if doing editing then you would want a small scratch drive, maybe 250Gb... but for storage a 7200rpm HDD would make more sense and save a lot of money.

If it were me I'd want an RMx PSU on that CPU platform.

Otherwise it's great.

Is the overclock on the CPU worth the extra money? I was under the impression that overclocking Ryzens should be avoided in general or am I getting confused here?
To my knowledge, overclocking ryzen is ok and the price difference is only 20 to 30 quid.

Ryzen doesn't overclock like Intel, it will actually reduce performance for things like gaming, and will only increase performance very slightly for things like video editing. It's generally advised not to overclock ryzen.
