Buying something and getting something else?

Has anyone ordered a specific desktop with say i7 3.8ghz and gtx 2070 Super and upon delivery they check and it’s not the specific components they ordered?
I’ve ordered my desktop 2 days ago.
my biggest anxiety is that it’s not going to be as I ordered

AMD Vs Intel

If you're still set on the system as you've laid out then definitely:

Swap the RAM out for 2x16GB 3200Mhz (faster the better)
Switch out the 660p M2 drive for the SX6000 512GB. The Intel drive isn't the best.
CV Series PSUs aren't for high end builds, you want at least a TXm or maybe even the RMx if you're feeling like splashing out
If you need Wifi the AX200 is the card you want, otherwise just lose the Wifi altogether and save the PCIe space
Drop Bullguard

The 2070 isn't a great choice right now either as the 3070 release is just around the corner. The 3060 should be following soon after which is a far better fit for your monitor and a huge saving.

I wouldn't worry too much. There are effectively 4 stages to building, and they're often done by different technicians, so for your worry to happen, every single technician would have to fail to notice the wrong components have been used. I suppose it is possible, but highly unlikely. I speak from the experience of having ordered 3 previous builds from PCS.

Thanks I’ll see what I can do. I know the 3000 series are better. Unfortunately not enough money 😔 it’s at a limit as it is. As for Ram had to change to 2400 do to budget

You would be better dropping the Samsung Storage SSD and propping up other areas such as the RAM. In the long term it's going to make a big difference.

Also, as per the link, AMD would be far more fitting and offer far more value.
