Hey everybody,

So I will be receiving my computer soon. Super Stoked!

Specification:

Processor (CPU) AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Eight Core CPU (3.6GHz-4.0GHz/20MB CACHE/AM4)
Motherboard ASUS® PRIME X370-PRO (DDR4, 6Gb/s, CrossFireX/SLI) - RGB Ready!
Memory (RAM) 16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 2666MHz (4 x 4GB)
Graphics Card 8GB AMD RADEON™ RX 580 - HDMI, 3 x DP - DX® 12

I have a LG Ultrawide 34UC99 which can output 1440p and supports AMD freesnyc. I want to get the best out of my GPU/screen set up, which cable should I purchase. A Displayport of HMDI, and what details should i look out for? I heard some cables only support 1080p? Or do you think the stock cables that come with the LG will be sufficient?

My set up will be in the living room as well, can anyone recommend a decent wireless gaming keyboard and mouse.

Thanks in advance!

The stock cable that came with it should be fine. I would go for display port over HDMI. If buying cables, make sure they are 'certified'. WHen exploring HDMI leads, there are many types advertised - 1.2, 1.4, 2.0 etc. I was told that only 2.0 supports 4k however from further research it does not really matter as long as they are certified cables.

Are you going to be gaming on it? An RX 580 is probably not a great pairing for a 3440 X 1440 res screen. RX Vega 56 / 64 would be a much better shout imo, if that option is still open to you.
