Hi this is my first post on this forum. A few weeks ago my dell computer finally broke after 5 or 6 years of continuous use. I am wondering if this computer I have customised and i am about to buy is suitable for the latest games and will be suitable for games in the future.

I do not require a monitor as I already own one.

1. What is the difference between a Gtx 560 ti and a non ti version

2. What is a memory card reader

3.How reliable is pc specialist

1. There is quite a bit of difference gaming wise between the 560 and 560Ti, its basically the 565 but they call it 560Ti, its a decent card, and will play most at max settings

2. A memory card reader allows you to access the data in memory cards, which are usually used as storage in cameras, phones and other portable devices

3. PCSpecialist is very reliable its where i got my PC from and I haven't had any major problems and it got built in 7 working days i think, I have had to phone support a few times who are the best customer support i have ever dealt with and they fixed the problems i had within 10 mins each time, and its not a really expensive rate like £2p/m because the phone centre is in the UK

Have you ever used fast track service and if so is it worth the money.

Whether it's worth the money or not really depends on you, do you need it quickly, or would you be fine waiting - noting that the lead times are estimates so can taken longer (or can be shorter).

Thanks for your quick reply. Have you ever used fast track service and if so is it worth the money.

No I personally haven't used fast track because I'd rather spend the extra £40 (or whatever it is) on something for the computer

But, I have seen various people use the fast track service and I very rarely see any complaints, only if something goes out of stock will there be a problem, and I think if its not reached by the deadline then the fast track cost is refunded

That'll run games at a higher FPS with the better GPU. The case will allow for more airflow and cooling. The Caviar Black is a faster HDD, so you will open files quicker and have a faster boot time :) Homeplugs are also more reliable than wireless :)

Thanks for the reply i have decided to remove fast track and spend the money towards upgrading the GPU.

I have similar specs to corfate's suggestion except i have the 560ti and 8gb ram which runs the games i've played at high/ultra - gta4, bfbc2, fallout 3, newvagas, mafia2 and the sims3 which have'nt diped under 45 fps the sims 3 is over 150 fps! in my opinion the i5 2500 is very good aswell as the 560ti.

As you can see, the 570 gets 9 more FPS on BF3 :)

You need 2 homeplugs, one goes into the ethernet port on the back of your router then in a wall socket, the other goes into a wall socket near your pc, then connects via another ethernet cable into the back of your pc :) Very easy to install, just plug in and you're away :)

you need two homeplugs to run internet through them, and yes, i think most homeplugs are plug n play

the GTX560Ti, should give you ultra settings at 1080p at least
I have the 570 and I have everything set to its max and i still have a bit of juice left (although the biggest maps require slightly more, none of which ive played yet as i got my 1080p monitor today)

So judging by what im getting, you should be able to put everything on ultra but may have to drop some of the filtering etc which are barely noticable majority of the time anyway

You should go for the 570 if you can afford it, its definitely worth it!

I will probably upgrade the graphics card in the future when i have more money to spare and get a Gtx 580 or perhaps something better. Also does pc specialist allow you to upgrade components in your computer such as ram or does it void their warranty.
