Cannot access BIOS

Hi,

Really struggling here accessing the BIOS. I turn on, get a prompt saying press F2 or del to start BIOS, i do so and it boots as normal.

Tried F8 and F10 also. My keyboard lights up so it is powering on, i tried several USB ports but still nothing.

Any ideas please?

Don't wait for the prompt to start pressing the keys, try straight away you power on.

Yeah.. i tried that. It didn't seem like the keyboard was powering up in time for that to work.

In any case, i have found a wonderful feature in Windows 8.1 that allows me to reboot into the BIOS! Problem solved.

In the bios, now you're in there, make sure usb devices are enable at boot time, will prevent that in the future (hopefully)
