Cant Upgrade to Windows 11 - TPM issue

I cant seem to upgrade to Windows 11 as I dont have TPM 2.0 - I wasnt aware I didnt have it as Ive never needed it

When i went to upgrade I saw this:

So I got the PC health check and it said this:

When I click 'See all results' I see this:

I then tried to enable TPM in the UEFI BIOS but this was beyond me, can you help?

So I worked out how to enable fTPM 2.0 (it wasnt that hard - previously I must have been blind)

However when i go to upgrade now it still says this:

So now when i run PC Health Check i get this:

So I tried to run the batch file to clear the system and that message but it didnt work, so Im stuck again, any suggestions?

I think it took my PC a little while to 'refresh' before that warning went away, might just need to catch up.

You need to reset Windows update, but actually a clean install would be suggested over upgrade in place.

My understanding is you need to update something in your bios? Is there different steps required depending on which motherboard you have? Mine is also a Ryzen 5

You need to go into your bios and enable it - not update it.

Yes, it's different depending which motherboard. Have a look for ftpm

Thanks checked that and can see lots of help and info guides.

Still not decided whether to upgrade yet or not and as you mention above usually a clean install is better for these things.
