Cas Latency For Ram On AM4 Build

Hello there.
I'm looking up a build through Pc Specialist. The build would be:
Ryzen 7 5700X
Asus Tuf 4070 OC
32GB 3200mhz Corsair Vengeance Ram
(Rest of specs don't matter for the question)

I'm just wondering what the Cas latency would be on the ram as I know many ram kits come in varying specs.

That's something you'd have to ask PCS directly, as we can only see what's shown on the configuration pages.

However, from memory they weren't the tightest.

When I bought mine in 2020, the 3600MHz sticks were CL18 [18-22-22-42] and 3200Mhz sticks were CL16 [16-18-18-36].

I did ask them a few hours ago through live chat and they didn't know. Told me to consult the manufacturer to find that out. Considering they're building computers, I would've thought they'd know something as simple as this.

I'm surprised they couldn't offer a part number to look-up, but it may be that the sticks they buy do not have a retail part number to look up.

If you want to guarantee timings CL16/CL15/CL14, then you'd have to buy the system with a single, cheap 8GB 3200Mhz stick and source your own from your preferred supplier.

Components change all the time, so what may have been supplied previously may have changed in the meantime.

It's only something PCS could answer.
