Is there not at least a way of doing it without in built graphics?.
If its going to be a capped or limited build to keep to his budget, you can still spec something that will work a little better I would of thought.
With the PSU and fan changes, it came ot £828. This build comes to £827.

Edit @sibun1 beat me to it. I think they're the exact same apart from the Case 😂 Both builds would require a cancel and re-purchase, although would give a much better all-round system for it

I forgot to take bullguard out as usual.
IT would happily do a few years, and you can squeese more out of it if you are into doing upgrades over time.
You would also be 1080p screens though without upgrading the PSU to something 650W or above but the board can take a higher spec CPU should you wanna do that at some point. Case isnt great, but you can add in more storage but I wouldnt put too much more in there.

Its kinda got the bones, but needs some work lol

It's worth amending it mate. You definitely need an SSD to run windows from. SATA one is fine. The specs recommended by other members here after your post will make a brilliant homework and 1080 gaming machine if that's your budget. You will still be able to run basically any game at 1080 medium most on high settings. Youll even do Cyberpunk on 1080 low which will be better than the last gen consoles.

However if you could at all go for a 1660 it really would be worth it from a gaming point of view.

Sadly OP will have to cancel and re-order because to access the, CPU. faster RAM and the motherboard, they'll need to spec a 'Ryzen Extreme Computer' compared to a 'Home/ Office Computer' and as far as I'm aware you can't change configurator once ordering.

Well if they are there, I would cancel and reorder.
The spec has no pre order items so shouldnt suffer much delay anyway, and only just ordered, so now is the time to do it.
£813 was the spec I posted, £3 more than his current. he can save it as a quote to pin the price and if cancelled now, would have the refund back after weekend to put new order in.

Might even clear friday night if lucky, and can order at weekend.

If its only ordered 24 hours shouldnt be a big deal. Although because things are so busy a refund could take a while. Took 3 weeks for mine.

I have recently ordered a PC. Im not complaining about wait times or anything like that, Im just confused.

Does the 'build time' mean when it will be built and delivered to my house or...??

'In Building' time is just that - the time taken to physically put the machine together.

This is followed by 'Testing'

Then 'Awaiting Dispatch'

Finally 'Dispatch'

Once you get a despatch notification, your machine will be delivered a random number of days after that depending on when it is despatched and to where.

Build to dispatch can be as little as 2 working days (ignore weekends), and as long as a week or so.

Hi,

Will windows 10 come preinstalled with a bunch of random apps and software or will it be nice and clear?

I know this sounds stupid but i saw a video on youtube saying most prebuilts come with loads of random programs.

PCS's systems are generally very good at not having stuff you don't need. Once the PC arrives and you've done all the Windows updates and GPU driver updates, you could always go to settings and uninstall the software that you don't think you'll need.

Also, it's not necessary to create a new thread for every question you have. You can just post a new post under your build discussion thread and people will see it and respond.

Would a mod be able to merge this thread and the '1660 Super' thread into the 'Case Fans' thread? Thanks!

No worries, thanks!

In regards to your question about RGB on the GPU's @123_ , We realisitcally don't know. PCS generally stock Palit and Zotac cards so if we go on the assumption that's the cards they have in and have a google for those brand cards, it looks like neither card have any RGB's, or LED's for that matter. But, they have stocked cards from other brands due to the shortage recently so there's a chance you might get a card from a different brand that does in fact have RGB's.
