Change rear fan

Good evening guys! I would like to change my rear fan that is a black non rgb pcs fan. I have already order a Cooler Master MasterFan MF120 Halo ARGB. I also ordered an Addressable RGB LED Splitter Cable | 1-to-2 aRGB LED Splitter | 3-Pin Connector | 1 Female to 2 Male because to me seems the only way to connect this new fan and use it through Aura. My motherboard , an Asus Tuf gaming B550 plus has only one addresable argb connector that should be already occupied by the 3 front fan of the case ( Cooler Master TD500 mesh), i mean there is something connected and i guess are the front fans of the case. Using a splitter could be a problem?

Hey there Sciamir91, you should be fine using the splitter, the Coolermaster fans don't often go via an LED count so when you split it it should just do the same thing on the new fan (roughly) as the front fans. There shouldn't be any issues.

Hi there! Thanks a lot. It actually worked fine the splitter. I'm still able to control all fans through Aura without any problems. I also order another 3 pack of Halo fans as I want to replace the front ones too. I hope to don't mess it up tho 😂. As soon I have everything sort it out I will be back with a post with some videos/pics on the "Show off your new pc" section. I got the rig back in June, but I never had the chance to post it. Now that I'm back on the forum for some help I definitely need to post it! Thanks again 💪
