Changed spec

I changed GPU to try avoid the 3080 black hole.
As a result of changing the GPU is PSU still sufficient and is there any other changes I should make as a result.

Monitor is not purchased yet as things were changing so I decided to buy one based on the pc specs I end up with.

Changed to a 3090?
How much more is a 1000W RMx? You should be fine on a 850W going from spec requirements but if its an option and inexpensive it might be an idea.

Youre looking at something along the lines of a Samsung G9 for the type of monitor that would pair to that build?

That is an extremely expensive upgrade. Is there a reason you went to 3090 over the 6800XT and 6900XT?

What is your monitor budget? The STRIX 3090 is a very expensive upgrade but if you are happy paying a very heavy premium to get the build sooner it’s understandable. You will be looking at upwards of £800 on a suitable 4K 144hz or 1440p Superwide to make full use of it though. I would also recommend the 1000W PSU if going down this route.

Alternatively if you’re not looking to utilise RT or DLSS the AMD GPUs as mentioned above will be a great option and have much better availability.

Downgrading to a 3070 is also an option, this will pair nicely with a top end 1440p or 1440p Ultrawide.

I'm actually thinking that downgrading to 3070 might be the better option as 3090 is abit of a waste.

Monitor budget isn't an issue i think i got alittle imptient and threw money at the issue.
