1) AMD or NVIDIA? And why?

2) Does Virgin Media internet connection work with PCS cases?

Thanks guys!

Nice spec, should all be good, but i'm sure someone will come back with what to change if needed :)

Answers to questions:

1) AMD are value for money, very good cards.
NVIDIA have all the technology's in them.

2) Your ISP has no affect on whether your internet will work with your system.

Cheers dude but for my 2nd question I was referring to the wire that's used for Virgin Media Broadband that plugs into the back of my comp. I'm just wondering if the USB port on my new computer would be different and resulting in me not able to use teh internet :). I know I sound stupid, sorry :D

Shouldn't make any difference, can't see any reason for it to. Is it a dongle or something that you are talking about?

Only thing i can reccomend is to drop the ram to 1333, since your not overclocking you wont feel a different and itll save you money

What is this spec going to be used for? If it is for gaming only, I would recommend upgrading the psu so that you are able to fit in another gpu later when one on it's own starts to struggle. To provide funds, you can drop the CPU down to the 2500, possibly the 2400 if you want to.

It will only be used for gaming. Nothing silly like BF3 on maximum setting but things like Far Cry 2, ME3, Diablo3 all on Max settings.

Also, is there really a big difference betwen 2400, 2500, 2600 - i5, i6, i7?

Cheers!

Bump! Could I get a little more feedback on my spec, please? I'll most likely be ordering it tonight and want to know if there's anything I should change before I go ahead with it.
