On my sister's shiny new Kabylake CPU it has the speedshift functionality, I enable it through throttlestop but it doesn't work because the Clevo Control Centre takes control, but I need the control centre to keep the CPU fan hushed (comes on too early imo).
For example...
Power Save and Balanced mode allows for up to:1.8GHZ (i3 7100H)
Performance locks it to 3.00GHZ
I would like it to clock up and down like a normal laptop, but it doesn't work, also note that I am using the clevo control centre from the driver CD, I will check to see if there is an update...
*It doesn't, task manager reads the CPU clock wrong
