Just a quick question, is the Hyper 212x enough to cool a 8th gen i5 8600k standard, and possibly small - medium OC?
If yes, great!
If no, what about the masterliquid lite 120/240?

It would be more than fine for a stock i5. I expect it would also be alright for a small OC since, afaik, the i5s don't get as hot as the i7s.

Whether the i5 8600k is really worth £70, or whatever the current difference is, over the i5 8400 is another question. I'd be tempted to say it isn't.
