Hey guys, thought this was some interesting news,

With the Introduction of DirextX 12 and Mantle may also come with an awesome feature of stacking your VRAM so if you have two GPU's with 4GB your PC would then have a total of 8GB ram instead of the two 4G merely mirroring each other

I'm still waiting to see it before i fully beleive it but this would be an awesome thing to happen

Sounds really good, since I have 2x760s and the only thing I can't max out sometimes is textures since i only have 2gb.

Having said that it depends if most games utilize DX12, or if it's ignored. Plus i'm not sure if it works with all DX12 games or if it's something the programmers have to enable?

Not directly related to GPU memory pooling but: Testing of DX12, albeit as the article stresses giving results that do not necessarily indicate what performance will be in the final reality, shows some very impressive performance gains with DX12:

I don't understand everything in that article but the things being introduced in DX12 and Windows10 suggest that the pooling of GPU memory is the sort of thing that can be going on.
