You may find that 16GB of RAM is a bit over the top, though this depends on what business stuff you may be doing, the rest of your listed things you'll be doing won't need anywhere near 16GB

Business wise a lot of development related applications from Visual Studio through to Powerpoint and Project + VPNs, VNC, etc. It probably is over the top but memory is cheap and I'll be running W7Ult 64 bit, so I'd rather have too much than too little.

Problem is you start with a max budget then fill it up, whatever it takes [rollinglaugh] And I haven't gone for the gold plating..........................
