Hey, so i just entered into the PC world and don't really know how to properly build a PC that is budget-friendly, reliable but also handles modern day games such as COD:MW, GTA V, VALORANT along with normal day to day use (youtube, etc.)

I'm thinking about getting this monitor and need a pc to go along with it:

Hello -- nice to have you along.

That isn't a display I'd recommend at this kind of PC budget. You really want to go for 1440p: a good display will be around £300. Maybe the Asus VQ27AQ.

Then for the PC itself you've got a few options. One is the "current gen" option, with an Intel 13600K (I make this just under £1800). Then you have a couple of "last gen" options: a budget one with the AMD 5600 (£1430ish) or the more elaborate 5800X3D (which brings it to £1800). Or you have the "forward looking" option with the AMD 7600X (£1950-2000ish).

The Ryzen 5000 options leave you with little upgrade path. The Intel one doesn't have much more by way of upgrade, either. The Ryzen 7000 is the most likely to see you be able to do future upgrades.

The performance list for the present day is likely to be 5800X3D top, followed by 13600K and 7600X, followed by 5600X some way behind. The difference in most games will not, however, be enormous in the present day.
