compute intensive laptop

Has anyone got any advice or criticism for the build below. I am not into gaming but I do program and run scientific problems which need a reasonable power blessed machine. I also will use it for leisure; movies , play DVD, browsing, searching etc.

What you have is on point. Any chance you're at your budget limit? thats if you have one. If not i would consider a higher cpu since they are not upgradable in future.

If you're not a gamer, I'd consider the Enigma III 520. It's almost identical spec-wise but the graphics card is slight inferior, however with the money you save you could get the next CPU up as Teaz has mentioned.

Thank you for your comments. I think that I will take Teaz's idea and upgrade the CPU. I was tempted by the HD screen of the 540 as we have just got HD Freeview and I can tell the difference there. I know the screen is smaller, but I am treating myself with this specification. Thus I think on balance I will stay with the 540 and upgrade cpu and bear the cost.
